2025 Workshops and Seminars
This year will be the 17th anniversary of THT Kyrgyzstan and marks our 2nd trip to Uzbekistan.Â
The Uzbek seminar is scheduled for Thursday, September 4th in Samarkand. There is a high speed rail service – requires advance booking – from Samarkand to Tashkent (the Uzbek capital) and there are daily flights from Tashkent to Bishkek (the Kyrgyz capital).
The Kyrgyz seminars commence with the FORUM English Language Teachers’ Association of Kyrgyzstan seminar in Issyk-kul on September 7th. Delegates travel back to Bishkek for another FORUM seminar on September 10th. We conclude with our main two-day university seminar at Bishkek State University on September 11th and 12th. Delegates are welcome to participate in as much or as little of the program as they like, according to their availability.
The theme for this year is: Analog and Digital Approaches to Teaching
If you have a Masters Degree or its equivalent in TESOL or a related field and are intrigued by sharing your ideas and expertise in Central Asia, contact delegate leader Roger Palmer (palmerroger246@gmail.com) with at least three proposals. Please be sure to indicate your available dates. You can also submit your proposals online via the Submission Form. The deadline for applying is July 11th.
