Humanistic Language Teaching in an AI World: 2024 Workshops and Seminars
This September, join us for an engaging series of workshops and seminars titled “Humanistic Teaching in an AI World,” hosted across the Kyrgyz Republic. As we integrate artificial intelligence more deeply into our educational practices, this year’s theme focuses on maintaining a human-centered approach in teaching.
Event Schedule:
- Jala-Abad: Hosted by K.Sh. Toktomatov International University and the FORUM Foreign Language Teachers’ Association of Kyrgyzstan, our series kicks off on Friday, September 6.
- Bishkek: Activities continue with FORUM on Tuesday, September 10, and conclude at Bishkek State University from Thursday, September 12 to Friday, September 13.
Participation:
Whether you can attend one workshop or several, we welcome your involvement. This series is ideal for educators who wish to explore the integration of AI in teaching while emphasizing humanistic principles.
Call for Proposals:
Educators with a Master’s Degree or equivalent in TESOL or related fields are encouraged to submit proposals. Share your insights and strategies on balancing AI technology with humanistic teaching methods. Please submit at least three proposals, clearly indicating your available dates.
